Dipak Dhamala is the Founder and Director of Himalayan Experience Travel. With more than 40 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry across Nepal and Australia, he has built a reputation for creating authentic, high-quality travel experiences and providing outstanding customer service.

Mr. Dhamala began his career in Nepal in 1988, where he established and successfully operated a trekking and travel company, specialising in adventure travel, cultural tours, and Himalayan expeditions. After migrating to Australia, he founded Himalayan Experience Travel in Adelaide in 2010 with the vision of offering personalised, value-for-money holidays and unique travel experiences to destinations around the world.

Throughout his career, Mr. Dhamala has been actively involved in promoting tourism and representing the travel industry. He served as Treasurer, Joint Secretary, and later General Secretary of the Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN), one of Nepal's leading tourism organisations. His leadership and dedication have contributed significantly to the development and promotion of Nepal's tourism industry.

Having personally travelled to more than 40 countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, Mr. Dhamala brings first-hand destination knowledge to every itinerary. His extensive travel experience enables him to design carefully planned journeys that combine iconic attractions with authentic local experiences, spectacular scenery, and meaningful cultural encounters.

In addition to leading Himalayan Experience Travel, Mr. Dhamala played a significant role in strengthening the relationship between Nepal and South Australia by establishing and serving as the Honorary Consulate of Nepal in South Australia. His commitment to tourism, community service, and international cooperation reflects his lifelong passion for connecting people and cultures.

Today, Mr. Dhamala continues to personally oversee the design of many of the company's tours, ensuring every itinerary meets the highest standards of quality, value, and unforgettable travel experiences.
